Landscape roses that bloom hard with less fuss — still needing sun, air flow, and occasional cutbacks.

Knock Out and similar landscape roses were bred for disease resistance and long bloom, not exhibition form. They suit mass plantings, driveway borders, and sunny foundations.

Give them full sun, air circulation, and water at the base. A late-winter cutback keeps shrubs dense. They are tougher than hybrid teas, not maintenance-free.

If older shrub roses have been a battle with black spot, modern landscape roses are often the better residential choice.
